The Annual Norfolk County Schools Championships were held at Broadland Sport Club on Saturday 22nd January 2022 in which 26 enthusiastic youngsters sought to win their particular age group.

Unfortunately their were no entries for either the Under 11 Girls  or the Under 19 Girls categories while there was only one entrant, Darcy Brewer, for the Under 16 Girls event. The remaining Girls event, the Under 13's, went to Eva Eccles who comfortably defeated her two opponents.

The Boys events were much more competitive with Finley Howes beating Stuart Qiao to win the Under 11 category. Ollie Mcclean proved too good for all opponents to win the Under 13 event in a Round Robin format while Joshua Collen beat both his opponents in the Under 19 category.

The most competitive category was the Under16 Boys with Oliver Collen and Victor Golebiowski battling  their way to the final beating Alfie Yarrow and Jake Andrews respectively in the two 5 set semi-finals. The final itself was even more of a nail-biter with Oliver taking a two sets to one lead only for Victor to level things up by winning the fourth. The final seemed to be in Oliver's grasp when he was 10-6 up but Victor fought back to level things at 10-10. Oliver just re-asserted himself enough to take the set and the match 12-10. 

The following players earned an invitation to the National Finals being held in Wolverhampton on April 2nd;-
